For me it was an old tabletop machine at the youth club I went to in the early eighties, I thought it was a great bit of kit.

The PS1 and Street Fighter on the PS1 did. I was 5 or 6 at the time. Started with watching my friends playing and then I wanted to try it too, and been stuck with gaming ever since.

My sister got a PS2 for her birthday and then barely used it.

Video game arcades as a kid as well as the old Atari and Collecovision consoles. Misspent youth? Hell no!

Roommate had a Wii U with SSB4 that we played for hours at a time. Ended up buying me my own Wii U when we moved, then my father in law got me a PS4 and I've been gaming from then on lol
