I've updated the Gameboy Advance roms in the New Releases Section. The roms have been brought up to the last release on the GBA, #2808. Apart from that, a new torrent is now serving EVERY ROM from #0001 to #2808 at our Bittorrent Tracker.

For those of you who've been looking to complete their GBA Collections, this is a great opportunity to quickly download the parts you're missing. We're seeding the torrent on a very high speed connection (60Mbps) so you're guaranteed good speeds.

I found a couple of Goodsets lying around, ones which we hadn't yet added to the Goodsets section of emuparadise.org. Thus, I decided to put them up for our visitors to grab. Here's what's been added:

Today, after months of deliberation, I've finally added the first batch of DC ISO's to our tracker. Thanks go out to Sprung for uploading these ISO's to our server. These ISO's are part of a larger project to add the entire Dreamcast US set to emuparadise.org.

Well, the Nintendo DS Roms have been brought up to #2574. Getting on with these titles pretty quickly these days.. Apparently the Nintendo DS is seeing a much larger number of titles than the GBA ever did. I guess handheld gaming is finally in the mainstream.

In other news, our Bittorrent tracker has moved to a new server. With the tracker going private, we needed lesser resources to run it, thus I decided to optimize resources by moving it to a server that fits the purpose better. Since we were doing a move, I've updated the tracker as well and we're now running on Xbtit v2 which has a couple of AJAX goodies and some other nice stuff to offer. Hopefully this update will solve our age old ratio problems and allow people to get the credit that they deserve. : )

Well, I'm happy to say that after a short downtime including times when the site was excessively slow loading, we're back online! The downtime was caused by some server disk space problem. Our server was reporting that the drive was full where in fact it was almost empty =P. Unfortunately, this happened at the same time as me road-tripping through some mountains in South India. Thus came out the handy 38.4kbps GPRS connection and laptop of one of my friends [adityanand.com] so that I could get this lovely website back online =D
